Words (bis)

Hi guys,

I did not want this interview to get lost at the bottom of my very long initial “Words” post. So I’m putting this up in a separate post. You’ll remember, if you read “Words”, that my whole disability-labelling-soul-searching exploration was set off when I was researcing a piece about Marco Weber (link in French), a kayaker making the 40-day trip from Montreal to Percé to raise awareness about bullying. He was doing this on behalf of his disabled son and other kids–disabled and non-disabled– who have been bullied.

Listen to the interview HERE. (The female voice you’ll hear is not mine, it’s our morning show host, Susan.

Also, while we’re in the business of posting links and talking about disability, allow me to suggest Kristen Williams’ blog.  One of my friends from Ottawa blogs about disability, Ottawa life and life in general with refreshing bluntness and occasional justifiable rage. 🙂
