Leaving no stone unturned in GAZA

Hi everyone,

Greetings to my wonderful merry band of WordPress followers. As you know, I work as a journalist. I’m currently looking for someone on the ground in Gaza to provide a ground-level view of the current conflict in the Gaza Strip. I honestly don’t care if the person is a political analyst, a paramedic, a random teenager or a short-order cook.

The only requirements are…

-that the person is on the ground in Gaza now
-that the person has a connection to the province of Quebec (grew up here, lived, worked or studied here at some point, has family here)
-that the person is reasonably articulate and comfortable in English
-that I can get in touch with the person sometime this week, preferably before Friday morning.

OK, Internet, work your magic!
Email me at ruby.pratka@cbc.ca if something comes up! ūüôā

UPDATE: We found a person. I’m hoping to post a link to the two interviews (one from the Israeli side and one from the Palestinian side) in this space in the next day or two. Thank you for your help!

UPDATE #2: HERE are the two interviews that we did, one from the Israeli side and one from the Palestinian side. I will never know exactly how we found either of these people, but both are eye-opening interviews.
