Looking forward to 2014

The “looking back” isn’t quite finished yet; I still have several Haiti-related posts in my back pocket. But just for fun, and because I’m taking concrete first steps this week, I’ve decided to post my New Year’s resolutions.

-Learn Spanish (first class is Monday after next, oh yeah!)
-Take up at least one other language (Créole? Arabic?)
-Be a more responsive daughter
-Keep better track of my possessions
-Get my long-term residency paperwork in order
-Finally renew my damned driver’s licence.
-Graduate and get a steady, regularly paying, relevant job by the end of the calendar year.

There.

I’ll see how I do.

What are yours?
